He’s been described by Coach Hughes as a “competent athlete.” Dr. Ursin once called him a “charismatic individual.” He’s Charlie Benedict, and when he isn’t being the Senior News Editor, he enjoys presiding over Service Corps Grants Team, working as a supervisor at his local Chick-fil-A, and passionately defending school choice. If he’s not lobbying on behalf of provocative news articles, he can be found getting kicked out of the library by Pamela Nye, berating the Lynx staff or making freshman reporters cry. It’s been rumored that he’s considering a possible run for the 2024 election, but this is unconfirmed as of press time. Go Hawkeyes!
