Dear Readers,
Welcome back to the 61st year of The Bi-Line, Westminster’s premier student-run news publication! This year, we have some pretty exciting news! We’ve gone global. The Bi-Line is popular in several foreign countries, including but not limited to: China, Russia, Germany, and even Uzbekistan. This year, you have double the amount of articles to look forward to, as we have both increased our number of reporters as well as had some of our editors write a few articles each publication, a decision we’re sure has made us very popular within the staff.
You might notice that this Letter from the Editors is coming a bit late this year… Although we have been wrapped up in college applications and senior assassin (Ayan is still hoping to win), we promise to maintain the same level of excellence the Bi-Line has delivered since 1963 and continue on the tradition of leaving this newspaper a little better than we found it. If you have story ideas or are looking to join our staff, we would love to hear from you! You can either catch us on the pool deck, with Ayan being the best manager the Catfish have ever seen and Phoebe maintaining her national #1 ranking in any long-distance event no one else wants to swim, during any of the lunch periods we spend rotting in Bawk, or reminding/yelling at our staff to follow the Style Guide.
There is some pretty exciting content to look forward to this year. From constant election coverage to the countless slightly controversial story ideas we wonder can be published, we truly have a remarkable staff this year that will outdo the Lynx in every way imaginable.
