Letter from the Editors- May 2023

Dearest readers,

Time sure flies by when you’re having fun! We can’t believe that the year has already come to a close. It feels like just yesterday we were sitting in a corner of the third floor of the library dreaming about becoming head editors together one day, and now our time is coming to an end.

From getting hacked on Instagram to the tight publishing schedules, this year has been filled with excitement. We are proud to share that we have published a total of six editions this school year, including our viral April Fools edition. Eighty-six articles have been published, and we have gained new fans spanning from Colorado all the way to China.

We have been so incredibly honored to lead this team of 60 reporters, editors, and photographers to keep you updated on the happenings of the Westminster community and our world. We are so proud of what you all have accomplished this year. Of course, we could not have done any of this without the support of Dr. Combest and Ms. Darling, our wonderful faculty advisors. They have worked tirelessly and overtime to ensure our articles are top quality. We will miss both of them dearly as we step foot into our next journey in life.

As we leave behind this amazing, illustrious, typo-free propaganda publication that is the Bi-Line, we hope that you all, our beloved readers, enjoyed this year as much as we did. We can’t wait to see what our head editors for next year, Alexandra Kent and James Rhee, have in store.

It sure is bittersweet, but we hope we’ve lived up to the legacy of the Bi-Line, and we look forward to seeing how the Bi-Line continues to grow.

And for the last time, we’re signing off as your Co-Editors-in-Chief and biggest fans of the Bi-Line

Aanya Chaganthi and Melanie Zhang xoxo
